We walked to the winter Whiteout Pep Rally at the High School today. We participated in the Cheer Off, listened to the winter sport coaches introduce their athletes, staff members sang a catchy Spooner version of Jingle Bells, and Mrs. Smith was turned into a snowman. Description: https://gallery.mailchimp.com/0266f232fd1081e8817150501/images/f206f382-519e-4f18-ad99-edcf03d70d59.jpg

Hello!
I hope that December is finding you well and not too stressed. I just want to share a few quick notes with you about the next week

Next Monday, December 14th, will be our SES Family Night.  I hope that you will be able to join us for a meal, some fun children’s activities, and an informational meeting for parents starting at 4:30 p.m.

Our Holiday Concert will be on Thursday, Dec. 17th.  Our 3rd Grade students will be performing at 2:00 p.m. I hope that your schedules will allow you to attend. I am looking forward to my first SES concert experience.

We sure haven’t been experiencing much for winter weather so far this year but I would also like to remind you to be sure that your child has the appropriate attire for outside recess each day.  If for some reason this provides to be difficult for your family, please let me know as we have access to a few resources for children in need.

I am sending home book orders today. There is no guarantee of delivery before Christmas but I think if we get the order in Monday we will be okay. You can order online with the code GCRTM. All flyers from November and December, as well as special catalogs are available online, as well.

I want to thank each of you for the support that you give your children daily and for the warm welcome that I have received this year. I have come to think of SES as my new home and love being part of your child’s day.

Thank you,

Mrs. Williams
